V 5.0
- Service group.
- Mouse cohorts.
- Owner groups. The guru can define groups of users which can be used as owners of mice like normal users. But you can alter these groups afterwards. The ownership is always determined on the fly. So for a given user Mausoleum checks the three possibilities for a mouse ownership:
- The mouse has no defined owner. In this case all users of this group own this mouse (if this is possible for the given user)
- The user is a defined owner of this mouse
- The user is part of an owner group which is defined as owner of this mouse
- Security level for rooms. In general Mausoleum does not like transfers of mice between different rooms which have a defined security level. Nothing changes if the mice are not sitting in a room with a defined security level or if they are not moved in to a room with a defined security level. But if mice are transferred between rooms with defined security level you will get an Mouse Pope Alert and an email is sent to the responsible people. If the security of the target room is higher the user has to justify the transfer by a comment which is appended to the mail.
- Pool area can be used also for cages

V 4.24.11
- Demo creation improved. ZIP file exchangeable with Apple systems

V 4.24.10
- Added a little tolerance to the father determination. The general rules still apply:
The rules are as follows:- If we find a unique candidate take this
- If there are more possible candidates let the user decide which one
- If we find no candidate the user can chose from mature cage mate(s). Was included because there could be an error in the date of the mouse transfer or the user imported a couple which was already in a mating in the group from which it was exported.
- If there is still no candidate the user can choose from all actual male mice which were mature at the date of conception
- If also there was no possible father (resp. the user didn't choose one) the litter is created without father
But the primary candidate determination was a bit too strict in some cases. The begin of the "hot phase" is assumed to be 28 days before delivery and ends 16 days before delivery. If no potential father could be found Mausoleum tries day by day for additional 6 days. If there is a unique candidate this one is chosen. Otherwise the above mentioned rules b) to e) apply. - The Administrator can prepare demo versions of Mausoleum with the data of individual groups. This gives you the possibility to give this demo versions to new lab members to become a bit familiar with Mausoleum without modifying your actual data
- Strains can also have a specific color
- New color mode: Strain
- New color mode: Line/Strain. This color mode is a bit peculiar. The color at first hand is determined by the mouse line. If it is a breeder mouse the strain color is used. But this color is then surrounded by a grey border.

V 4.24.9
- More recipients for mail can be specified

- CIBIR printers show multiple lines per parent in mating cages if one line is too small for the information
- Strains can be defined as a mixture (e. g. if you want to set a strain of an imported mouse to 50% BalbC and 50% C57)
- While creating a litter with a strain mixture mother's strains will be the first ones shown for the pup
V 4.24.8
- Intercross report can now be generated also between different lines (actually it can be an intracross report). Results are shown in a table ordered by line and genotype of the pups.

- Generation markers can be set for each mouse. They can be viewed in the mouse tables as P, F1, F2... by selecting the appropriate column. While generating a litter Mausoleum calculates the generation of the offspring. If you defined the generation of an animal this number will be displayed. Otherwise the generation is calculated from the generation markers of mum and dad if available. If there are differences (e. g. you cross a F2 with a F5) the generation marker of the offspring is the the largest number from the parents + 1. But the generation markers of the parents will be displayed in this case.
- Individual standard task can be defined with automatic completion by setting a result for a given experiment
- Tasks are shown for all mice which can be modified. Even if a different favorite is set.
